''For the Scottish footballer, see Pat Clarke'' Patrick Clarke is a writer, producer and actor. Inspired by New York's Independent Film Culture, Clarke formed Maiden Voyage Pictures in 1996 and wrote and produced his first feature, ''Beyond the Pale'' (1999), which was a modest commercial success in Ireland, Australia and the UK and won awards at the Houston and Arizona film festivals (2000).
